Nicely remodeled historic hotel.Front Desk Service was great, but amenities lacking.No ice machines available.Ice delivered to the rooms instead.Room service delivered in paper boxes.Nice view from rooftop bar but food, drinks, service were sub par.

Bom lugar para ficar. No entanto, fui cobrado duas vezes. Fui comprar lanches por volta das 23h e me disseram que não havia cartão cadastrado para eu cobrar meus lanches, então tive que inserir o cartão que tinha comigo para pagar os lanches. OS LANCHES!! Mas não foi dito que eu estava sendo cobrado pelo meu quarto além desses lanches. Então, paguei o dobro pelo meu quarto, mas nem me disseram que eu estava sendo cobrado pelo quarto novamente foi a parte louca. Chamado para um reembolso. A jovem que me ajudou com o reembolso foi legal. Mas se eu não tivesse notado, eu estaria sem dinheiro. Em vez de apenas pedir minha confirmação # ou qualquer informação da minha reserva, eles apenas me recarregam. Houve também um problema com o sistema deles, mas isso não equivale a me cobrar por um quarto inteiro, sem me comunicar isso quando eu estava comprando SNACKS. Como o quê? O quarto já estava pago.

Bem no coração do centro de Birmingham, na esquina mais pesada do mundo, você está centralmente localizado e a uma curta distância de TANTAS atrações, restaurantes, lojas e história. Embora, deixar suas acomodações elegantes seja muito difícil. Os designers do Elyton conseguiram algo que muitos tentaram e não conseguiram. Eles tomaram um edifício histórico e criaram uma casa moderna, elegante e elegante longe de casa, SEM perder nenhum dos encantos do velho mundo dos edifícios. Nice place to stay. However I was charged twice. I went to purchase snacks around 11pm and was told there was no card on file for me to charge my snacks, so I had to insert the card I had on me to pay for the snacks. THE SNACKS!!But was not told that I was being charged for my room in addition to these snacks. So double paid for my room, but wasn’t even told that I was being charged for the room again was the crazy part. Called for a refund. The young lady that helped me with the refund was nice. But if I didn’t notice it, I would have just been out of the money. Instead of just asking me for my confirmation # or any of my booking info, they just recharge me. There was also a problem with their system, but that does not equate to charging me for an entire room, without communicating that to me when I was just buying SNACKS. Like what? Room was already paid for.

¡Vaya, vaya... el Elyton es una joya! My, Oh my... the Elyton is a gem! Right in the heart of Downtown Birmingham, on the Heaviest Corner in the World, you are centrally located and within walking distance to SO MANY attractions, restaurants, shopping and history. Although, leaving your posh accommodations will be very difficult. The designers of the Elyton have achieved something many have tried and failed to accomplish. They have taken a historical building and created a modern, "swanky" and elegant home away from home, WITHOUT losing any of the buildings old world charm. I couldn't wait to get finished with my day and return to the Elyton. The staff, every one of them, acknowledges you as you walk in an area. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and wanted. They are current on events, activities and local laws. Even though there's a restaurant on site, the staff will lead you in the direction of what ever craving you may have and how to get there. O lugar é lindo e tem uma sensação muito eclética e sofisticada. Realmente elegante. Mas, este é um lugar onde é Forma/Design sobre função.A equipe com manobrista é incrível e muito útil.A equipe da recepção (à noite e de manhã ambos) parecia um pouco put-out/irritado por nossa chegada e perguntas, mas a equipe de manobrista foi útil.Este é um lugar onde a forma supera a função. Os quartos são minúsculos, os salões são minúsculos (carrinhos de bagagem mal cabem nos corredores ou nos quartos) os carrinhos de bagagem são frágeis e mal se mantêm juntos.Os quartos são bonitos e ecléticos (é por isso que o escolhemos), mas esta forma tem precedência sobre a função. Não é destinado a Famílias.A porta do banheiro e as portas do chuveiro são de vidro verde/amarelo opaco e não vedam, não têm ventiladores, são quentes como o inferno, e conversas completas podem ser mantidas, as mãos podem ser seguradas durante o uso de ambos .... ou seja: falta um sensação de privacidade.O banheiro também pode ser chamado de sauna porque era tão quente quanto uma... não é um lugar onde você quer começar a suar apenas entrando. A lista era estranha e, novamente, não era para função, mas sim para forma.A forma/decoração era boa, mas faltava muita função, não será um lugar em que ficaremos na próxima vez que estivermos na cidade.Além disso, o bar/restaurante não está aberto no domingo, quase todo o centro da cidade está fechado, então definitivamente não recomendo uma estadia de domingo no centro de Birmingham.

El lugar es hermoso y tiene un ambiente muy ecléctico y lujoso. Realmente elegante. Pero, este es un lugar donde es Forma/Diseño sobre función.El personal de aparcacoches es increíble y muy útil.El personal de recepción (tarde y mañana) parecía un poco molesto por nuestra llegada y preguntas, pero el equipo de aparcacoches fue servicial.Este es un lugar donde la forma triunfa sobre la función. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, los pasillos son pequeños (los carritos de equipaje apenas caben en los pasillos o en las habitaciones) los carritos de equipaje son destartalados y apenas se mantienen unidos.Las habitaciones son hermosas y eclécticas (por eso las elegimos), pero esta forma tiene prioridad sobre la función. No está destinado a familias.La puerta del baño y las puertas de la ducha son de vidrio verde/amarillo opaco y no se sellan, no tienen ventiladores, hacen un calor infernal y se pueden tener conversaciones completas, se pueden tomar las manos mientras se usan ambas... es decir: carece de sensación de privacidad.El cuarto de baño bien podría llamarse sauna porque hacía tanto calor... no es un lugar en el que quieras empezar a sudar simplemente entrando.La forma/decoración era agradable, pero le faltaba algo de función. No será un lugar en el que nos quedemos la próxima vez que estemos en la ciudad.Además, el bar/restaurante no está abierto los domingos, casi todo el centro de la ciudad está cerrado, por lo que definitivamente no recomiendo una estadía de domingo en el centro de Birmingham.

The Place is Beautiful and has a very eclectic and high end feel. Really Posh. But, this is a place where it is Form/Design over function. Valet Staff is Awesome and very helpful. The Front desk staff (evening and morning both) seemed a little put-out/annoyed by our arrival and questions, but the Valet team was helpful. This is a place where form trumps function. The rooms are tiny, halls are tiny (luggage carts barely fit through the halls or in the rooms) luggage carts are rickety and barely holding together. The Rooms are beautiful and eclectic (which is why we chose it), but this form has take precedent over function. It is not meant for Families. The Toilet Room door and shower doors are opaque green/yellow glass and do not seal, do not have fans, are hot as hell, and full conversations can be had, hands can be held while using both.... ie: lacks a sense of privacy. The toilet room might as well be called a sauna because it was as hot as one...not a place where you want to start sweating just walking in. The listing was weird and again, not meant for function, but rather form. Form/decor was nice, but it lacked some much function, It will not be a place we stay at next time we are in town. Also, the bar/restaurant is not open on Sunday, almost the entire downtown area is closed, so definitely do not recommend a Sunday stay in Birmingham Downtown.

O Elyton é um lindo hotel situado no centro histórico de Birmingham, com muitas comodidades agradáveis, restaurantes requintados e alguns dos melhores bares. O Elyton é um hotel muito conceituado que sempre recomendei aos funcionários visitantes, familiares, bem como aos visitantes que vêm à nossa bela cidade. Há uma questão que eu vou e devo resolver para que isso nunca aconteça novamente. O atendente da recepção, que é um jovem negro, recebeu uma pergunta simples, mas em vez de ser gentil e educado como deveria ser, sendo o primeiro contato encontrado ao entrar no hotel, ele agiu de maneira extremamente pouco profissional em relação a um item que o hotel não oferece mais. O caráter dele era muito impróprio e injustificável, em vez de ir para baixo com ele, entrei em contato com a GM Miss April Mosley. Ele pode precisar ser retreinado em relação às suas habilidades de atendimento ao cliente e, acima de tudo, à sua etiqueta comercial (ficar de pé ao ser falado por um hóspede) em um estabelecimento como o Elyton Hotel, altamente considerado por muitos.

The Elyton is a beautiful hotel situated in Historic Downtown Birmingham with many nice amenities, fine dining restaurants, and some of the best bars. The Elyton is a very reputable hotel that I've always recommended to visiting employees, family, as well as visitors who come to our beautiful city. There's one issue that I will and must address so that it never happens again. The front desk attendant who is a young black male was asked a simple question but instead of being kind and polite as he's expected to be, being the first face of contact encountered upon entering the hotel he acted in an extremely unprofessional manner regarding an item that the hotel no longer offers. He's character was very unbecoming and unwarranted, instead of going low with him I contacted the GM Miss April Mosley. He may need to be retrained regarding his customer service skills, and most of all his business etiquette (stand when being spoken to by a guest) at an establishment such as the Elyton Hotel that is highly regarded by many.

A equipe da recepção deste hotel deixa muito a desejar. Tive a sorte de ficar em hotéis da marca Marriott em todo o mundo. Dito isto, esta foi a PIOR experiência de check-in em hotel que já tive! Eu estava com dois idosos com mais de 70 anos de idade e levou 4 funcionários e 25 minutos para nos fazer check-in em dois quartos. Liguei no dia anterior para solicitar que os quartos ficassem próximos um do outro. Acabamos nos andares 2 e 9…não exatamente perto um do outro, como prometido no telefone. Eles tinham um dos tipos de quarto errados, eles pensaram que eu tinha um 'rei duplo' em vez de um quarto duplo queen ... nunca ouvi falar de duplo rei nos hotéis Marriott. Eles também erraram as informações do meu cartão de crédito, embora eu tenha mostrado tudo no aplicativo Bonvoy. Eles me perguntaram meu sobrenome 3 vezes até que finalmente coloquei minha identidade no balcão e pedi que se referissem a ele para o meu nome daqui para frente. Eles não sabiam a que horas seu próprio restaurante abria para o café da manhã. A resposta foi única – “é praticamente qualquer hora que você chegar lá”.Eu procurei a GM do hotel pessoalmente e ela enviou uma garrafa de vinho espumante e um prato de queijo de US$ 13 de cortesia para os quartos. No entanto, isso não compensou arruinar nosso dia na recepção. Prefiro que você não me dê uma garrafa de vinho barato e, em vez disso, me faça check-in sem pesar.Não voltarei a este hotel. Great location, nice hotel, the stay was great, the design and architecture was nice. The staffs were professional and courteous. However, I ran into an issue with one of their staff right after check-in no deal-breaker. Nonetheless, it was a very poor judgment from the staff.Overall, it was a nice chic hotel.

The front desk staff at this hotel leaves a LOT to be desired. I’ve been fortunate to stay at Marriott branded hotels around the world. That said, this was the WORST hotel check in experience I’ve ever had! I was with two seniors over 70 years of age and it took 4 employees and 25 minutes to get us checked into two rooms. I called the day prior to request rooms be near one another. We ended up on floors 2 & 9…not exactly near one another, as promised on the phone. They had one of the room types wrong, they thought I had a ‘double king’ instead of double queen room…never heard of double king at Marriott hotels. They had my credit card info wrong as well, even though I showed them everything on Bonvoy app. They asked me my last name 3 times until finally I placed my ID on counter and asked them to refer to it for my name going forward. They didn’t know what time their own restaurant opened for breakfast. The response was a one of a kind- “it’s pretty much whatever time you get there”. I did seek out GM of hotel in person and she sent a complimentary $13 bottle of sparkling wine and cheese plate to rooms. However, this didn’t compensate for ruining our day at the front desk. I’d rather you not give me a bottle of cheap wine and instead check me in without grief. I will not return to this hotel. If I’m Birmingham, I recommend you choose elsewhere for a hotel.

Um dos hotéis de luxo mais bonitos que já fiquei. Eu precisava de uma fuga tranquila, o que era perfeito. No entanto, o bar da cobertura e o restaurante são ótimos para se divertir. Assim tem o melhor dos dois mundos. Dominique era tão carinhoso. Fiquei grato por sua hospitalidade. Todos os representantes da recepção foram excelentes, mesmo quando eu precisava de algo no meio da noite. O manobrista teve um problema com a equipe, o estacionamento fica ao lado do hotel, o que facilitou para mim apenas chegar e estacionar meu carro. No geral foi uma experiência incrível. Agradecido por eu ter escolhido ficar lá.

Uno de los hoteles exclusivos más hermosos en los que me he alojado. Necesitaba una escapada tranquila, lo cual fue perfecto. Sin embargo, el bar de la azotea y el restaurante son geniales para pasar un buen rato. También tiene lo mejor de ambos mundos. Dominique fue muy cariñoso. Estaba agradecido por su hospitalidad. Todos los representantes de la recepción fueron geniales, incluso cuando necesitaba algo en medio de la noche. El servicio de aparcacoches tuvo un problema con el personal, el estacionamiento está al lado del hotel, lo que me facilitó obtener y estacionar mi automóvil. En general, fue una experiencia increíble. Agradecido de haber elegido quedarme allí.

One of the most beautiful upscale hotels that I have ever stayed. I needed a quiet get away, which was perfect. However, the rooftop bar and the restaurant is great for a great time. So has the best of both worlds. Dominique was so caring. I was thankful for her hospitality. All the front desk reps were great, even when i needed something in the middle of the night. Valet had a staff issue, the lot is next to the hotel which made it easy for me to just get and park my car. Overall it was an amazing experience. Thankful I chose to stay there.
