I wouldn’t call this a luxury hotel. It’s a 3 star at best - the rooms are nice but very scruffy, with cracked paint, dirt on the walls and the balcony is laughable with a massive wall that renders the balcony meaningless. The balcony outside our room was also filthy with peeling paint. The scuffed paint and dirty walls are a theme as this is the same case in the hallways. WiFi was very good. Pillows were very soft with no alternatives in the wardrobe. Also, no minibar or bottles of water in the room. Overall, a meh experience. Oh and when the room got cleaned they missed basics like replacing toilet paper. I can also vouch for the AC not working as mentioned in other reviews. I booked this place based on the number of positive reviews but to be honest I’m convinced half of them are fake as what I’m reading just doesn’t add up to what I’ve experienced!

We had a great stay during our 2-day trip to Naples. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the king bed comfortable. We didn’t have any issues with sound from the construction outside, as the rooms are sound proofed and you can close your window. The breakfast buffet is among the best breakfast offerings we’ve seen during our travels in Europe and well worth the price. We didn’t use the spa but the prices seemed fair for what you get. The only issue we ran into is that the construction outside the hotel causes a lot of traffic and congestion, and partly as a result of that the streets and walkways outside of the hotel are covered in litter. That’s hardly the fault of the hotel, but it will leave you with a bad impression if you’re used to cleaner and less congested streets.

Rooms are quite and spacious with high ceilings. However rooms definitely need renovation. Spider webs are at the corners of walls and ceilings in our room but in general room was clean. Corridors need a fresh paint and new carpet. There were patches of bleach on the corridor carpets. The lift we used had greasy finger prints on its ceiling and dirty floor and no one cleaned that up during our 3 nights stay. Staff were nice and helpful but some basic training and manners were missed. Like not drying up your wet hands with your shirt! Not smoking in lobby when no one is around, the smell remains! Cleaning up of outside of the hotel is as important as cleaning up the inside! Although the Hotel is in walking distance from station I recommend everyone to take taxi from station specially during night!

Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Conveniently located, awesome service and great breakfast buffet. Rooms are great, too. Looking forward to my next stay at Palazzo Caracciolo :)

Was good for a one night stay. Staff were friendly and room was clean. However I expected better from a Sofitel hotel. The Courtyard area and restaurant is very pleasant, however the ‘deluxe’ room was distinctly average for what we paid and didn’t represent the photo of the deluxe on their website.
