“3 estrelas por causa de 3 problemas: - Para um hotel de qualidade decente, o desperdício de louças e talheres descartáveis no café da manhã realmente faz o lugar parecer barato e brega. É ruim para o meio ambiente, vergonha para você Hilton por não fazer uma mudança simples e efetiva para reduzir o desperdício. - Suco de maçã no café da manhã era nojento, altamente adoçado. Os americanos gostam dessas coisas? Nem mesmo nossos filhos gulosos gostaram. - O encanamento do banheiro estava um pouco desligado, um encanador / engenheiro amigável e útil o consertou, mas parece que o problema era mais estrutural do que uma correção superficial.Os pontos positivos: + Funcionários simpáticos e prestativos + Perto da estação de metrô. Dicas: o google continuou nos enviando pela estrada para outra entrada da estação, mas na verdade há uma do outro lado da rua. + A vibração e a localização são ótimas. + O hotel é de boa qualidade (além dos descartáveis no café da manhã e no banheiro) + O estacionamento não foi realmente um problema, como outros revisores reclamaram, descobrimos que DC tinha muito estacionamento.Fundo: Parte de uma roadtrip oriental dos EUA, ficou 2 noites com crianças pequenas. “3 stars because of 3 issues:
- For a decent quality hotel, the wasteful use of disposable crockery and cutlery at breakfast really makes the place feel cheap and tacky. It’s bad for the environment, shame on you Hilton for not making a simple and effect change to reduce waste.
- Apple juice at breakfast was disgusting, highly sweetened. Do Americans like this stuff? Not even our sweet-tooth children liked it.
- Plumbing in bathroom was a bit off, a friendly and helpful plumber/engineer fixed it but it seems the issue was more structural than a superficial fix.
The positives:
+ Friendly, helpful staff
+ Near the metro station. Tips: google kept sending us down the road to another station entrance, but there is actually one across the street.
+ Vibe and location is great.
+ Hotel is good quality (aside the disposables at breakfast and bathroom issue)
+ Parking wasn’t really an issue as other reviewers have complained of, we found DC had lots of parking.
